About me
With over 10 years of journalism and production experience, Gabriel first pursued a professional career in the entertainment industry as a media coordinator at the Emmy Award winning daytime talk show program, "The View" and on the live yearly telecast of "Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve." Gabriel then joined the ABC News team, working on various primetime specials including select "20/20" specials and the network's inauguration coverage in 2017. Currently, Gabriel works as Senior Creative Producer & Development for ABC News’ Robin Roberts production company, Rock'n Robin Productions. In this role, Gabriel oversees development, field producing, digital content, and management for the company’s projects. With an infinite passion for impactful storytelling, Gabriel uses his skills on a daily basis to assist in the creation, development, production, post-production, and launches of programming. As Supervising Producer for the award-winning inspirational digital series, "Robin Roberts Presents: Thriver Thursday," Gabriel has traveled around the country telling the stories of "thrivers" nationwide for four consecutive seasons. Other recent projects include the powerful 20th anniversary documentary, “The Women of 9/11” for ABC, the ESPN short documentary, “The Rule of Sedona Prince”, and the explorations of the real life influences of Marvel’s Black Panther in the documentary “Black Panther: In Search of Wakanda” for Disney+. Gabriel has worked in all facets of field and post production, also producing his own content and dedicates much of his free time to family, travel and running, even completing his first NYC Marathon in November 2019. Gabriel received his BA in Film Studies at Columbia University and resides in Queens, NY.
